Nick Prendergast hails from the sunny city of San Diego, but spent his childhood moving hither and thither, all across this great nation. His parents had always fostered his creativity, themselves great contributors to the greater American consciousness. His father, for instance, inspired the "You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling" karaoke scene from the movie ‘Top Gun.’ True story. His Uncle Mike claims to have invented white rice, but Nick remains skeptical as to the truthfulness of this particular contribution. In any case, Nick was always told he could be anything he wanted to be. Luckily, aside from a brief desire to be The Lone Ranger, he has always wanted to shoot photographs for a living.
